Modern Slavery Act

This statement is published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 of the United Kingdom and outlines the steps taken by Twinmar Ltd during the financial year ending 30th June 2018 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.

Twinmar Ltd is committed to providing customers with goods that have been produced in decent working conditions without exploiting the people who made them.

We work with an established footwear supply base and have built close relationships with all of our suppliers and agents. We understand that our biggest risk to modern slavery is in our own label supply chain where we have undertaken due diligence to minimise this risk. Our shoes are sourced from specialist footwear manufacturers based in Spain, Italy, Portugal, China, Brazil, Vietnam and India.

Any new supplier or factory our buying team decides to work with must complete a modern slavery declaration affirming their commitment to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in the goods they produce.

The Twinmar Ltd design and buying teams periodically visit our own label suppliers and factories to ensure the integrity of our supply base. We are committed to increasing the transparency within our supply chain year upon year.

Twinmar Ltd is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery and human trafficking in the business and its supply chain.
